Legislative Rascality: Undermining the President and the State.

by Eze Eluchie

What really has gone wrong with the United States system?

The naughty letter written by some 47 US Senators, members of the opposition Republican Party, to Iranian authorities seeking to undermine the ability of the US Presidency to negotiate treaties with Iran is taking domestic political squabbles a step to far.

The likelihood of parliaments in emerging societies seeking to tow this line of misbehavior and risk destabilizing their countries makes it pertinent to expressly condemn such acts of legislative rascality.

One begins to wonder if the issue of hatred of the incumbent US President is not blinding the opposition legislators to harm their country, akin to how some anarchist politicians motivated by hatred of the incumbent in Nigeria, are hell bent to undo the State to achieve selfish ends.
