Officially, we are informed he is going for an 'investment drive', that of course is official hogwash. 'Investment drive indeed!
During the Olusegun Obasanjo presidency, Nigerians became aware of how the Presidential Jet and presidential delegation was used as a means of money laundering and illicit purposes. In one instance, Olusegun Obasanjo's man-friday, Andy Uba, who now parades as a Senator of Federal Republic with the added prefix of one of Nigeria's medal of dishonor - the MFR - Miscreant of the Federal Republic, was arrested upon arrival in the US for using the Nigerian presidential plane to launder funds into the United States. I will urge the Nigerian community in Switzerland and mainland Europe and the entire global anti-corruption community to monitor closely the activities of the presidential delegation as they visit Switzerland.
Be more conscious of which Swiss Bank officials good old Jonathan and the members of his entourage hand out with. We do not need to wait for the regime to go before investigation and probably international arrests can be effected on kingpins in the regime.
